FAST weight loss
Everyone has a opinion on this
Slow and steady wins the race
Fast initial weight loss keeps motivation
Regardless of the route
the desired outcome is the same
Maintained weight loss for LIFE
so the journeys are different
my preference, personally… is fast at first
get some off
make some headway
get motivation going
who wants to be in a calories deficit for a long time anyway
then taking time at maintenance
learning how to eat properly
or like you were previously
in a way that means you DON’T put the weight back on
for some slow and steady is too tedious and they quit
but either way
fast and then maintaining
or slow ands steady and less intense and restricitive
both require a long time to get to that overall goal
habit forming takes time
education takes time
understanding how you operate takes time
knowing your weaknesses and when you are vulnerable takes time
but faster at first means you will be closer to that shape you want whilst all this happens
less eating restrictions whilst all this happens
able to have some enjoyment
but
its still a long term project
so to jump in and jump out immediately
to get results and then quit
is a short term view
and its THIS view
not the method or journey
the fast or slow
that means you DON’T end up with the desired outcome
